Obituary of Robert Leroy McMullen

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Leroy McMullen (Bob), after a short battle with cancer, on March 13, 2011 at the McKenney Creek Hospice, Maple Ridge, BC. Bob was predeceased by his devoted wife, Delores, in (April 2010), and by his parents Gordon & Alma, and brother, Lloyd. Bob leaves to mourn his daughter Debra Morgan (Tim), son Kenn (Heather), grandson Riley, sisters Eleanor Finn, Faye Ulmer, (George), Elaine Smeeton, brother Alan (Sandra), sister Angela Ganam (Ken), nieces, nephews, and many close friends and extended family. Born in Euphrasia Township, Grey County, Ontario in 1935, Bob moved to B.C. in 1956, opened Bob’s A to Z Rental in 1970, and worked tirelessly until retirement in 1985. Bob will be remembered for his love of life, family and friends. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 between 5:00PM and 8:00PM at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 – 224th St, Maple Ridge, BC. Anyone who knew and loved him is invited to attend a service in celebration of his life at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church – 22155 Lougheed Hwy, Maple Ridge, on Thursday, March 17th at 1:00pm. A time of sharing and remembrance will be held immediately following the service at Maple Ridge Baptist Church.
