Christopher Raymond Sweet

July 7, 1955 - July 9, 2019

 

It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Chris Raymond Sweet, beloved husband to Stefanie, treasured father to Kyle (Hilary), Brielle and Tyler, and dearest brother to Sandra and Karen.

Chris was a skilled craftsman and electrician who worked hard everyday. He used his hands and his mind to build beautiful cabinetry, living spaces, and gardens. He could fix anything and invented his own tools and systems to make life easier.

He was an avid cyclist, skier, runner and fisherman who loved the company of his family and friends during these pursuits. He had very special talents in the kitchen, delighting his family and friends with creations that will now be treasured family recipes. In recent years, Chris perfected the art of brewing exceptional craft beer – an art his son Kyle will no doubt take to the next level.

Whatever Chris did, he did it well and he did it to the highest standard. He did these things for others, hardly, if ever, thinking of himself. Chris was witty and did not suffer fools easily. He was a kind, polite, loyal and trusted friend to so many.
