Sy, was a shining beacon of Baillie house. I am a volunteer, and visit Bill Laity to this day. Sy’s room was right accross the hall. I found myself jumping from room to room, as both of these men had much to say. Be it; one of many victories, or the roads to them…. Sy was never lacking wisdom.
I still visit Bill, but he is not the same cheerful man. Sy was a “gentle giant”, if you know what I mean. Baillie house (as a whole) lost so much, when Sy passed.
“I long for those, who never knew you.” R.I.P. Condolences to all whom knew Sy.
