November 12, 1920 to December 24, 2010
Sam Tanner of Maple Ridge BC, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Christmas Eve morning. Sam leaves behind, his loving and devoted wife of 37 years Anne, daughter Robyn (Bob), son Neil (Cynthia), sister-in-law Winsome Wilkinson, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Sam enlisted with the 11th Fortress Signal Corps of Victoria, and was sent overseas where he served with the Fifth Canadian Armoured Division signals. All who remember him will recall his wonderful sense of humour. We would like to extend special thanks to Dr. W. Warmenhoven and the staff at Holyrood Manor for their outstanding care and dedication. Service to be held January 7, 2011 at 2 PM, Haney Presbyterian Church, 11858- 216 Street, Maple Ridge BC In lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite charity please.
