I will always remember Edith exactly like the picture you have used……a big smile on her face and holding one of her much-loved animals. She was quite the woman and I admired her strength of character and kindness. Fly with the angels Edith ❤

I would like to send my condolences to Edith’s Family on learning of her passing. I am lost for words as now I also have lost a dear woman in my life. I will miss her, but I will wear my infinity scarf in winters and will fondly remember her and that beautiful upbeat spirit and that radiant smile.

Thinking of all the neat memories we have that go way back to the 50’s. From Maple Ridge, where Allen was her paper boy, to the MRFD, then to our years as neighbours at Deka Lake – especially the early years where we used to go into 100 Mile House to dinner at the Red Coach Inn and take in a movie on weekends. Our weekend away to Prince George when the men went to the Ritchie Brothers Auction and we had the whole of PG shopping to ourselves. Our night walks on the frozen lake where the four of us laid down, made angels and stared at the stars one night. Our years working together at the Fire Dept Bazaars and sales plus the fun we had at Moira’s craft sessions. Our walks to the mailbox with Mickey, Charlie, Nisha and Muckluck, every day that kept us both so slim, healthy and happy. The day she came over to see how the addition to our cabin was coming along and the laughs we had when she hopped in the tub with Charlie. The list goes on and on. Happy times come and go but memories stay forever. So happy to have them. She lived a long and wonderful life. We will miss her and her nightly emails. She is with the angels, free of pain and suffering. Hugs to Max, Debbie, Brenda, Elaine and Ray & families.

To Mr. Rafuse and family,
I’m sorry for your loss of your your wife, mother and grandmother. I have fond memories going over to the Rafuse’s as child wether it was for eggs, sugar or what ever Grammie (Rita) and Mrs. Rafuse would borrow off of each other. Or her walking her dogs. I was always in awe of her elephant collection and was even more in awe when I found out Papa (Al) was her and Mr. Rafuse’s paper boy. Even though I haven’t seen her for years, she has a special place in my heart.

My heart and prayers are with you all:
Max, Elaine, Ray, Debbie and Brenda.
My sincere heart felt sympathies on the loss of your loved Mother and wife, Edith. You were a closely knit family so the pain is deep.
I do know the pain of losing any of our family and there is no one more precious than our parents and soulmate. May you find comfort in knowing we will all be together again with those who have passed on before us. Edith brought love as a gift so that you would know love and carry it forward.
My thoughts and heart are with you. ♥️
