Dear Mr. Ungaro and all your family,
I was very sorry to learn of the passing of Joyce. Although I didn’t know you well, I do remember that your names (the names of Rudy and Joyce Ungaro were household names around our home in Salmo. I know you both meant a lot to both my parents and I am so sorry I didn’t know you were both still alive and so close because I know my mother (Jessie Middleton) would probably have loved to have seen you. She is still alive and lives in Abbotsford. She is now 94 and I will pass Joyce’s full obituary on to her.It was she that noticed the abbreviated one in the paper.
