It is with great sadness and deep regret that we announce the passing of Joan Robertson in her 81st year.
Mom was hospitalized on April 4th suffering from congestive heart failure. Despite a courageous battle in Ridge-Meadows hospital, she finally left us at 6:40 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
Predeceased by her husband George in 2007, Joan is survived by her daughter Sue, her son David and their families.
Following cremation, interment will be in the Maple Ridge Municipal Cemetery. Only close family members will attend a very private Celebration of Life in the near future.
Joan’s entire family wishes to thank all of those who have expressed their support and best wishes. They also wish to express their immense appreciation to the Doctors and staff of ICU and 2-West at Ridge-Meadows Hospital. Their dedication, professionalism and compassion in caring for Mom during her final days greatly eased her transition to a better place.
