Obituary of Merrylee Geraldine Grace Flanagan

Merrylee ( Gerry ) Flanagan, aged 79, passed away suddenly on August 28th, 2019. She was an amazing woman with a loving heart, always ready to laugh and enjoy life.   She was known for her love of all animals, children, and a good Christmas movie.  She has gone on to join the love of her life, her beloved husband Paul, who passed away in 2013.  She leaves behind her daughter Dawn, son John and daughter-in-law Martha, as well as her 2 grandchildren Johanna and Ronan.  The family would like to thank the caring staff and residents at Victoria Heights, the dedicated emergency medical staff at the Royal Columbia Hospital, and her incredible Nurse Practitioner, Rima Niazi.  We will be forever grateful.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Seniors Services Society of New Westminster where Merrylee enjoyed many outings and fellowship.  www.seniorsservicessociety.ca

A celebration of life will be held at Sapperton Pensioners Hall, Sunday September 29 at 2pm.
