David was born on November 11, 1944 in Regina, SK. He passed away peacefully on October 16, 2019 in Abbotsford, BC. David is predeceased by his wife Matilda Sabiston (2016).
He is survived by daughter Deborah Sam, son Melvin Sam, brother Doug Sabiston, grandchildren; Vincent, Madeline, Victoreen, Jakoda, Pharon, Jasmine and Jesse, as well as great grandchildren; Vienna, Asher, Brielle and Colson.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11:00 am at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 -224 St, Maple Ridge.
