Obituary of Linda Ann Neil

Our beloved mother Linda A. Neil, 73, of Kelowna (and Pitt Meadows) BC, passed away on May 12th 2020 due to her fight with Cancer. Linda was born in New Westminster BC on February 13, 1947 daughter of the late Leslie and Blanche Wheeler. She is survived by her daughter Robyn Hopwood (Jeffrey), sons Graeme and Adam Neil and brother Ken Wheeler. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and other family members. Linda graduated from nursing school in the 1960's and worked the majority of her career as an LPN at Riverview Hospital. Linda loved to read and garden. She also enjoyed going to the YWCA and took up Pickleball in her later years. Mom loved tennis and she was always looking forward to the next match. Linda also loved animals and did some volunteering with the SPCA and various other animal rescue groups.
