Obituary of Lily Ann Triebwasser

It is with much sadness that we inform those who knew her, that on Saturday November 28 2020 we lost our beloved Mom Lily Triebwasser(nee Smith). 

Lily was much loved by all who knew her and many who grew up with her knew her as Tweety Pie. She was originally from the little village of Gwa Yas Dums off northern Vancouver Island but spent the majority of her life in the Lower Mainland- mostly in New Westminster then at her home in Whonnock where she and Lee raised their family. She was a very loving and generous soul who always made time to help others, and over the years opened her home and heart to many of the younger members of her extended family. She was also a lifelong animal lover, having dogs from a young age and even at the very end her thoughts went to our current pets Ebony and Loki. 

Family was very important to Lily, she was predeceased by her late husband Lee whom she missed greatly, as well as by her parents Peter and Alice Smith and siblings Archie, Arlene, Sally, Danny, Arnold, and Beatrice… she thought of them often, as well as the many other loved ones we had lost over the years.

Lily is survived by her daughter Sonia and her partner Darrell, her son William and his children Emily, Tyson and Naomi, her sister Molly, nephew Wes, nieces Edie and husband Doug(their children Toni. Adam, Dani, Amie), Sally( her children Presley and Sarah), Mary and Tonia.
