Obituary of Kathleen Frances Boyd

December 17, 1925 - January 21, 2121

Kay passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Willow Manor in Maple Ridge, BC. She is survived by her daughter Corinne Fink (Arthur), several grandchildren and great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Kay was predeceased by her husband Mel of 59 years, daughter Marilyn and sons Chris and Jamie. Kay lived in her family home in Campbell River, BC until the age of 91. In 2017 she moved to Maple Ridge to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. Kay had a gift for living life positively.... “her glass was always half full”. She enjoyed travelling, playing cards and gardening. Kay was an example of how life can be enjoyed into old age. She will be remembered for her ever-present smile and her love of family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
