My sincere condolences. Miss Brownlees was my Grade 3 teacher at Haney Central. She was one of those memorable people in my life. I remember her leaning over the small wooden desk, helping me understand a difficult math question. She was tough but there was a soft side in there too. May she Rest In Peace.
