To Fran, Alan, and all of Frank's family and friends. While notes such as these are difficult to write with the sense of loss around us. It's an occasion to marvel at the impact a certain person has had on those around him. It's one thing to be admired in close company. It's another to know of the man who was admired by anyone he met in the far corners of his travels. Frank was such a man. Avid traveler, keen mind, clever wit, devoted family man, diligent professional, and of course a ZZ Top fan. A life well lived. Happy to have had the pleasure of your company Frank. With heartfelt condolences, yet fond memories Yela & Tom Babic

I have so many happy memories of Frank and the Kemp family, back in Gloucester UK, and especially with my dear friend and sidekick Kev.
So many stories of Frank and our escapades, mostly hilarious, a few sad ones, but always memorable. He let me drive his new cars, smoke a few dunhill fags that he gave me, and partake in an alcoholic beverage or two! He was a legend of a man, a spirited adventurer and an all round amazing guy who I was privileged to know and call 'my second dad'. Thanks to the girls and Kev for sharing him with me.
As my wife Sam and I are sat here writing this, I'm laughing at all the stories that are coming back to me: The conversion of all those vending machines to take the new decimal coins, Kev in the bramble bushes with me and Frank doubled up laughing, me reversing Frank's new Hillman Imp car into a post outside the chip shop, and the lobster and scrumpy meal at the Golden Valley Hotel. Not forgetting the mosaic artwork that Frank made for the chimney breast in their home in Sussex Gardens ,that took 4 people, including dear Mary to lift it! Never a dull moment in the Kemp household.
Frank we know you'll be climbing that giant crane in the sky to be reunited with your darling Mary and Kev - safe travels Dear Friend
Until we meet again, God bless Dave and Sam Trickey xxxxxxxx

‘Your Dad is Amazing’… that is what everyone told me that when they met my Dad… his zest for life, for family, for travel, and for work.
Dad was kind, extremely smart, and funny! Memories of Dad, Alan and I sitting in our kitchen nearly every evening over the past 14 months, where I listen to Alan and Dad talk about some sort of algebra equation and the pencils and paper came out as they worked out a problem… I had no idea what they talked about… and Dad was 93 at the time… who could ask for anything better than that? A mind that was as sharp as his. Conversations would then lead to funny stories, and the three of us would banter back and forth. Afternoons and evenings working on a puzzle together (he would take a sip of wine every time he got a piece in), or a game of scrabble he always managed to win. I’m going to miss those times. We were blessed to have Dad share our home with us.
Of all the memories I have of my Dad, sharing vacations with us, I think my favourite is our trips to Italy. The three of us travelling around small Italian towns, sightseeing, eating and drinking wine. How blessed am I to have my Dad be with me in Italy when I was proposed to, how Dad and I cried when we knew mum should have been there too. Dad said that she was… she lives in me, just like dad will live in me.
Dad, I will miss you terribly, but I hold you in my heart forever.

Dad, you were the best Dad ever!
You worked so hard to provide all of us such great opportunities in life. I am comforted by the belief that you are now with the love of your life - Mary our Mum, and our brother Kevin. You were such a kind, considerate and intelligent man whose calm and thoughtful demeanour was always evident. Your sense of humour was so awesome and I love how you could always make me laugh no matter what. We shall all miss you so very much and I truly hope that you are at peace.
Love you ❤️
Nicola

I worked with Frank for the last 9 years and loved every bit of it. His sense of humour and his zest for life were an inspiration to me on how to live life to the fullest.
I have included some pictures of Frank on a crane in Ghana in 2013. He came back with so many photos and stories. He did love travelling. I was amazed he was still able to climb to the top of cranes and run his crews up there. He said he wouldn't have done it any other way. We will miss you Frank.
