There are no words to convey what George brought into this world. The only way to know is to meet his beautiful offspring and their offspring to witness the same joy and helping hand they continue to give to everyone around them, learned from their dad of course. They are a truly special family and George was a truly special human being. I will miss seeing him walking around our neighborhood, stopping to chat with anyone that reciprocated. I can't begin to share how funny, kind, loving, caring, smart, and interesting George was. So wonderful to know he is finally with his beloved Sheila.
George, you were one in a million. You will be truly missed.

I am sitting outside his apartment building right now in tears. I just saw the post on the window my heart is broken for all of you. As his nail lady for the last few years I have heard some amazing stories from his incredible life. He has talk to me on so many occasions about how much he missed his wife so it’s very comforting to know that he met up with her even if he was a little late. I will miss seeing his smiles every day and him walking up the street and waving and always asking how I am. Unfortunately during the live streaming I will be on a plane so I won’t be able to join but please know my heart is with all of you and if there’s anything that I can do at all please let me know.

So sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. He was a very great influence in the community, especially with his work In Malawi.
A very considerate man. I saw him about 3 weeks ago and he told me he was doing fine. I had talked to him several times after his illness and he told me many times that he only wanted to be with his wife (Sheila) and that he missed her very much. I hope he has found peace everlasting and to his family Larry and I offer our deepest condolences. God Bless You all and give you peace.
