Obituary of Lorraine Marie Spindor

November 10, 1938 – September 26, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. The heart and soul of our family has now become our angel after an extremely short but valiant battle with cancer. Born in Ste. Geneviève, Manitoba and came to BC at age six with her mom and siblings. Predeceased by her mother and six siblings. Survived by sister Jean Duhamel and brother Roland Saltel.

Left to mourn is her beloved husband of 62 years John, her two children Mike and Debbie (Gord). Her five incredible grandchildren; Christopher (Bria), Kyle (Daniella), Alysha (Nick), Chantal (Brady), Kellie (Josh) and her two adoring great grandchildren Lennox and Oaklynn.

She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and large circle of friends. She impacted so many peoples lives with her infectious personality, compassion, thoughtfulness and unconditional love for those around her.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses at McKenney Creek Hospice for their compassionate care.

Funeral Mass to be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 22561 121 Avenue, Maple Ridge on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 11am.
