Obituary of Christopher Michael Hernon

June 12, 1942 - August 31, 2023

 

Predeceased by his parents and loving wife, Patricia. Survived by his loving daughter Sheila (Leon), precious grandchildren, Megan (Chris), Madelyn and Ethan, great-granddaughter Kensington, siblings Marie and Elizabeth. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Chris was born in Dublin, Ireland before moving to Manchester, UK and immigrating to Canada in 1953. Chris loved his home away from home on Mayne Island, spent many years volunteering with the Lions Club and spent much free time following sports, specifically baseball, football and soccer. He was full of humor and cared for his family above all. Chis will be missed by family and friends, but forever in our hearts. The family takes great peace in knowing he is now reunited with his wife, Patricia. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
