Our condolences to all the family with the loss of your dear brother.
Recalling childhood years when Myron and my brother Brian played soccer together.
It was good to have spent time talking with Myron a couple weeks before hand at Betty‘s birthday. One of our conversations was how he turned his life around and put his faith in Jesus.
“Hope for Freedom” and “God Rock” had a positive impact on his life.
We are so grateful for God’s work through that ministry.
See you on the other side!
Love Sandra and Calvin

I met Myron through his sister Betty who is an avid music lover. A few years ago we were at the Pitt Meadows Airport of all places enjoying some live music outdoors on a lovely day. He noticed me drinking a cider and mentioned that he'd been sober for 18 years.
I congratulated him and said I probably had 18 years sober too cumulatively, with my most recent period of sobriety being seven years.
He seemed to think that was hilarious and I could have been offended, I suppose but I just thought he had a good sense of humour. He had a friend there and we all enjoyed a nice day in the sun.
The shocker was that I just talked to him again recently (September 30/23) at Betty's birthday party. He looked good and seemed to be enjoying himself. It was sobering (get it, Myron?) to find out he was gone so soon after but as far as deaths go, he made a clean escape. Rest in peace, Myron, or enjoy whatever comes next!

I’m sorry to hear about your brother. I can’t imagine losing a sibling, but pray that you get through this difficult time. I’m glad we all had a wonderful time at Betty’s 60th birthday party, and had a chance to see him there. Take care, Eileen

You were an awesome friend. Although I didn't know you through recovery, I got to know you well in the rooms.
After living as neighbors in the same building for over 6 years, we became great friends and I'll miss you always.
You helped me through some tough times and I'll always continue paying that forward.
God bless.
