Pat transformed lives !
She warmly welcomed with open arms and an open heart everyone who crossed her path.
Having taught in Maple Ridge for almost
40 years, I can say without a doubt this remarkable lady had a love of life and teaching !!
To know her was to love her .
Bringing her delicious baking ,
her laughter and contagious joy to our monthly Kindergarten meetings will stay with me forever . So comforting after a long day teaching !!
Like me, so many beginning Kindergarten
Teachers in our formative early years gained great comfort knowing Pat was a phone call or visit away.
I will cherish these early memories of all the laughter, practical ideas as well as an abiding friendship she shared with me.
I know she is at peace now in her eternal home.
So it is not goodbye but it is I will see you later .
Pat made such a huge difference to me and so many other teachers in our
district.
I am forever grateful.
