Obituary of Evelyn Marlaine Elliott

Evelyn Marlaine Elliott, 78, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Ev was born in Oshawa, Ontario on November 28, 1945 and after training as a hairdresser and then a nursing assistant, relocated to British Columbia in 1969. She married, had two children, and settled in Maple Ridge. While raising her family, Ev obtained her Early Childhood Education, and owned and operated Little Lambs Childcare Centre for over twenty years. Ev was a valued member of her church and contributed to her community by volunteering for many organizations. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Mahala (Ruckstuhl) Elliott and sister Irene. Ev will be lovingly remembered by her sister Shirley, daughter Louanne (Steve) Carlton, son Adam (Debra) Elliott, and 5 step grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Menno Home for their care and compassion over the past seven years.

Memorial donations may be made in Ev’s name to the BCSPCA.

Memorial Service will be held March 25 at 2:00 at Haney Presbyterian Church, 11858216th Street, Maple Ridge.
