Obituary of Carol Southerby

Carol Anne Southerby, 84, passed away on March 3rd at the Langley Hospice. Carol was predeceased by her loving husband, Lou. They are now reunited in heaven. She is survived by her son, Kevin, her grandchildren, Megan, Tina, and Michael, and her great grandchildren, Maisie and Emily, as well as many beloved family and friends. 

Carol was always passionate about social justice and activism. She worked as a BCGEU organizer and was a long-time member of the NDP. Carol was a fierce advocate for others. She spent her most of her life in her beloved White Rock, in the East Beach community, and was active in local politics. Carol was a loyal and dedicated family member and friend. She was passionate about animals and rescued and fostered many dogs over the years. 

Services for Carol will be held at 10am on April 27th at Garden Hill - 11765 224 street Maple Ridge, BC.
