Obituary of Lynda Claire Weatherwax

Lynda Claire Weatherwax (nee: Maurer) passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at her home in Maple Ridge, BC at the age of 76 years. 

 

Lynda was predeceased by her parents, David and Dolly Maurer; sister Dorothy Whitell; and her brother Harvey Maurer.

 

Lynda will be greatly missed by her husband, Bob Weatherwax; her daughter Erin Weatherwax (Devan) and her grandson Brodie Porter.  She will also be missed by her nieces: Candace (Don) Brownridge, Janice Phillips (Darcy), Maureen (Barry) Brumfield, Susan (Mataio) Gardi; as well as her nephews: David (Carley) Whitell, Steven (Gail) Maurer and Scott Lutz. Lynda is also survived by her sister-in-law Roberta Stitt and brother-in-law John Whitell; as well as her cousins and wonderful friends.  

 

A Private Family Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK at a later date. 

 

In lieu of flowers, for family and friends so wishing charitable donations in memory of Lynda,  may be made to a the Canadian Cancer Society, #300 ~ 55 St. Claire Avenue W, Toronto,
