Obituary of Susan Jean Hunter

Susan Hunter, born February 11, 1947, in Kitchener, Ontario, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024, in Burnaby, BC. 

Susan dedicated 29 years of her life to teaching, sharing her passion for learning and inspiring countless students. She earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies, which paved the way for her fulfilling career as a School Teacher.

A lover of music, Susan found joy in the melodies of Classical, Blues, and Folk genres. She cherished attending performances by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, where the power of music brought her immense happiness.

An adventurous spirit, Susan traveled extensively, exploring destinations such as Japan, Australia, Hawaii, Mexico, Scotland, North Carolina, England, and Germany. Each journey enriched her life and broadened her horizons.

Above all, Susan was a devoted animal lover, with a special affection for her three beloved cats and two guinea pigs. They brought her endless joy and companionship.

Susan will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
