My sincere condolences to you, Bob, Marj and Kathy, at your mom’s passing. Connie always made me feel like I was an extra special person. She nicknamed me Barney when I was about 6 years old, and although I pretended to hate the name, I was secretly pleased every time she called me Barney because then she’d laugh. I loved her laugh. I’m sad that I am not able to be there with you today. I would have enjoyed hearing all the stories that began with, “Remember the time that Connie….”
