My husband (Sid) and I were very saddened to hear of Lynn’s passing. We have always treasured our friendship with Lynn. We had 4 fox terriers over the years and all were taken to Trudy’s to be groomed. We would hang around and chat with them before heading off to do errands and we knew our pups were in good hands. We loved our conversations with Lynn, Kevin and Clive. Lynn was the reason we had all of our fox terriers and our Nora had a litter of pups and the only female of the bunch was Eileen Anderson’s pup, Remy. We were very sad when the shop was sold and Lynn moved away from Vancouver, there was quite a hole that was never filled for us. May she rest in peace and will always be in our thoughts.

I was sadden to see that Lynn passed away. Her kindness is so evident in her photo. I was a client of Trudy’s Dog Grooming for many years and I am forever in her debt for one of the best gifts of my life – my dog Remy. I had taken my old dog Max (13 yr old at the time) for a grooming on the Saturday of the Labour Day weekend. I returned home with 2 dogs, Max and a 12 week old wire fox terrier puppy. I had admired the puppy and Lynn said at least 3 times, “She’d be good for Max”. Now I was a teacher about to return to the classroom on the Tuesday. I put up my excuses (3 of them) and for each one she repeated her admonition. Max spent 2 of the happiest years of his life with her. She was the source of much laughter and general hilarity. Even more amazing, Remy was in my classroom every day for 12 years comforting and welcoming hundreds of students. Her picture was even on the wall with the staff for many years. So, thank you Lynn. Rest in peace. And may her memory be always a blessing to her family and friends. She was a special one!
