Dearest Holly & Family,
I am so sorry to hear the news. I can only imagine the loss you all feel. I spent a lot of weekends with Jack, Fred, Sonny, Gordie and Jerry’s naming ceremony. Way back when it started as Mighty Mouse in Jacks cabin up Pitt Lake. He was one of the greats and will be sadly missed. May peace be with you all.

Dear Susan, Debbie and Holly:
Please accept our deep and heartfelt sympathy for you all at this sad time. Your Dad was a great part of Pitt Meadows, not only as a member of a family that shaped PM from the early days, but also as a member of the Fire Department, Legion and Piledrivers. And, what PM Day parade would be complete without your Dad and his Model A … he sure enjoyed that as did we. But the biggest “deal” for us is/was your Dad’s belief in freedom and Canada. Our family has so much respect for your Dad’s contribution to the liberation of Holland. Take care. Tina Laseur, Gerri (Laseur) Willms, Cathy (Laseur) Eggens, John Laseur.

on behalf of the piledrivers executive board and the brotherhood i would like to express our sadness in the passing of our brother. The are very few brothers that do not know the legend of Jackie Sharpe. He was instumental in shaping the piledriving industry and set the bar for which few will ever reach. On july 26 he would be a member of this local for 65 years. that would make him the second longest serving member. As per usual with the passing of any brother, a moment of silence will be observed at the july 9 union meeting, after which i will race out to maple ridge and pay respect to the man who built this province.

Dearest Holly and Family: No expressions can really define the love and admiration that we had for Jack. Nor can it deliver the hearfelt condolences we feel for all of you during this time of such a great loss. However, a simple note to let you all know that we feel your pain and that Jack will be forever remembered and greatly missed by us all. He was without a doubt one of the greatest men we have ever known. We all loved him dearly and respected him to the fullest. He was Jerry’s mentor at FRPD and the main reason that life has been so good to him. Their trips hunting and fishing will never be forgotten. His nickname for Jerry of “MOUSE” was and always will be forever fitting. He knew what made mouse tick and knew how to make him work, work, work. “THE HANDS OF A WORKING MAN”. We love you all and are here for you, whatever you need, whenever you need. God Bless you Jack and be in peace. Look down on all of us sorry souls down here in “Poor Canada”from time to time. Love Jerry, Susanne, Nolan and Nicole.
