Gary says he has known Mary since she arrived at the Pt. Holmes house, a house full of strangers, with a
fridge full of beer! I met Mary at Robb Street. Stewart was a shy little boy Ian a baby who sat on my lap
and played with my copper filing necklace. Mary had baked bread, the house smelled wonderful, and
it was delicious. Over the years we lived close together and also miles apart but our friendship
continued – distance didn’t matter. We took up where we had left off no problem.
To us Mary was sweet, patient and kind. Mary holds a dear place in our hearts and memories – always
will.
Our love and thoughts go out to you Tom and to Stewart, Ian, Shelly, Maira and the families in
