Carole – I have been out of the country and only just heard your Mom passed. There is never a right thing to say when someone leaves this life, and especially when it’s a Mother. Auntie Lilas was an exceptional lady in every way. Even though we didn’t see her often in the last few years, both my Mom and Dad (Kae & Gord) thought the world of her.
I know Auntie Lilas was so incredibly proud of you and your family – know that you were so fortunate to have had such a loving and kind person in your life. I remember her with special fondness and I can hear her hearty laugh as I write.
