It is with great sadness that we learned of Marlene’s passing. She was a very special woman and our family holds many fond memories of Marlene and you all. Mom and Dad still talk about the New Years Eve party in the basement at the old house in Langley with the beautiful accordion entertainer. Her legacy lives on through you all. Our deepest condolences.

To Roy,Rick Keith and Christie..,Ryan and Sean…..to all of you she was family. To me she was my good friend’s mother…..who treated me the same always.I had been at her home many a Christmas, for the opening of gifts on Christmas Eve,and manys a pig roast…..in the summer……all was fun and laughter.
Roy on the Pipes and Marlene on the accordion …a fixed smile on her face….I can still visualize the smile and that old squeeze box…….people will live on,physically, until their is no one left to recall them…..but our spirit will have already joined the force, the power and the intelligence of this Universe .Our thoughts were unique and can never be destroyed .We just become part of a bigger whole….and that is where we all shall attach someday….for the Universe is Expanding……lots of room for the Big Heart of Marlene…..is that music I hear…???

I met Marlene about 45 years ago. She was always kind to me, and there was always an open invitation to her home. I have many wonderful memories to treasure, including those Christmas’ with her playing the accordion. Thinking of you all during this difficult time and sending love and sympathy. Marlene will be missed.
