Penny and I would like to express our sympathy to my cousins Greg(Karen), Kevin(Heike), Rebecca(Alojzy), and Corinne and families.

We were so very sorry to hear about Fred’s passing. My father speaks so often of fond memories of world travel with Fred. And of course Fred will be sadly missed at Tuesday morning coffee along with other gentleman pals that have met there over the years who are no longer with us.
May you know the warmest prayers are being sent your way, to hope the lasting love of God and all His healing care, will be with you throughout this time to ease the loss you bear.
With sympathy, caring, warm friendship and love.

I just wanted to say how sad I am to hear that Fred has passed. He was an incredible man and it was an honour to have known him, work with him, share his laughter, and to hear his wisdom on so many issues. Although you didn’t mention it in the obituary, Fred was an incredible member of the Maple Ridge Lions Club for a long long time. It was there that my dad and I got to know and love him. I know that dad knew him for a long time prior to him joining the Lion’s Club and that he really appreciated his friendship and willingness to always help out. When I was President I could always count on Fred to do more than his share and when no one else was available, Fred’s hand would always go up. He always had a good thing to say about people, a smile and a great attitude. A person always had a great feeling after parting company. Maple Ridge has lost one of it’s great ones. He has truly been a great citizen. I will miss him. ( I will be unable to be at the service as I will be out of town. I will be there in spirit however.)
