It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of Joseph Thomas Mulvihill, AKA “PAPA JOE”, a dear husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, great grandpa & friend to all! Survived by his loving wife of 67 years Monica, children Bev (Don), Maureen, Pat (Karen); 7 grandchildren, Michelle (Jim), Shauna (Andre), Russell (Ramona), Trevor (Dana), Ryan (Cindy), Tamra (Brody), & Shannon, 12 great grandchildren, sisters Helen & Doris & many family and friends. Joe’s entire life has been centered around sports, from track, basketball, bowling, soccer, baseball and softball. After retiring from the Justice Institute of BC in 1986, Joe’s favourite pastimes were, golfing, golfing and more golfing, which earned him 3 “hole in ones” in his lifetime.
Donations
In lieu of flowers donations, to the “Heart & Stroke Foundation” or “Lymphoma Society” can be made.
Funeral Mass
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, November 1st, 2013 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge.
