1929 – 2013
At peace, after a long struggle, Harry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gerda, his beloved sister Helga and her husband Doug and greatly missed by his children Peter and Ursula and their families, Cely, Derek, Rebecca, Aaron, Siena and Sam. Born in Berlin, he immigrated to Canada in 1955 where he enjoyed raising a family and a long career with Woodward’s. Known for his love of nature and long walks, Harry was a gentle soul to the very end and friends and family are grateful for his many years of love and support. Heaven is getting a good man!
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 30 at 1:00 pm at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 – 224th St, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
