I met Nita & Joe 50 years ago. Mike even longer, he was at their wedding, along with our friend Misura. We spent a lot of time together, playing canasta in the beginning, all of us. The guys went on to playing cards. Eventually Nita and I moved on to Yatze, playing for dimes. I still have some of her dimes I won. Nita was very lucky/good at this game. We went on outings, e.g. Osoyoos, Mackenzie Beach, Richmond, Nanaimo, BC, and more. We did dinners, BBQ's, etc. spending time at Jerico & Spanish Banks, by UBC. We stopped going when we found out raw sewage leaked one summer at those 2 beaches.
